Travellers killed in Lahj shooting

LAHJ, Sept. 25 (YPA) – Two travelers were killed on Monday in a shooting at Lahj province, south of Yemen.

Sources familiar with the matter in the province said by members of the “Security Belt” factions affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Tur Al-Baha area opened fire on a tanker carrying almost 4 passengers from Bayda province, killing two of them and arresting others.

The sources pointed out one of the recruits at the STC’s factions was killed also after clashes broke out among the two sides.
