SHABWA, Aug. 26 (YPA) – Flash flooding caused by torrential rains killed at least six people in Shabwa Governorate, which is under coalition control, amid accusations that the Al-Alimi government is evading its role in confronting the flood disaster.
Local sources reported that six people died in the districts of Bayhan, Usaylan, and Al-Talh due to the rains and floods, which swept away three cars and damaged electricity networks, private and public property, and agricultural lands in the governorate.
The people of the governorate accused the Al-Alimi government, affiliated with the Saudi-Emirati coalition, of evading its role in confronting the disaster that is befalling the people of the governorate in the absence of emergency plans.
