Israeli enemy exploits Ukrainian refugee women to work in prostitution

TEL AVIV, March 17 (YPA) – The Israeli enemy media on Wednesday, March 16, shed light on the new suffering experienced by Ukrainian women fleeing the war, as they were exploited to work in prostitution.

“Yedioth Ahronoth” newspaper said that the phenomenon of trafficking in women has risen remarkably, calling on the authorities to act.

The Israeli newspaper noted that some are benefiting from the situation of women fleeing the Ukraine war in Israel, and added “the police must act quickly to prevent harm to the refugees who have lost their world.”

With the arrival of Jewish refugees from Ukraine to the occupied territories to escape the specter of the war taking place there, Israeli websites, citing the Ministry of Welfare and the Human Trafficking Unit in the Israeli Ministry of Justice reported that about 100 girls who came from Ukraine were offered to work in prostitution upon their arrival at Ben Gurion Airport.

According to the testimony of these girls, some people from Israel contacted them, while they were in Ukraine, and offered them to cover the costs of travel and accommodation in a hotel for several days, and gave them a sum of money to facilitate their affairs upon their arrival in Israel, in exchange for working with them in “dirty jobs,” such as housework or sexual services.

Some of these women said that they came to Israel with a tourist visa and a travel ticket, and were received by some people, and rented a house for them to stay in, without paying a single dollar, in return for their commitment to pay these costs by providing “sexual” services.

In another testimony, one of the girls stated: “People broke into my hotel room, accompanied by Ukrainian refugees who have been living in Israel for years, and blackmailed me and bargained with me to work with them in the sexual services networks.”
She added that they tried to convince her that working in this job would give her a salary of thousands of dollars a month, as a better option than living on government subsidies that might stop at any moment, or a decision may be issued to deport her at any moment.
