186 kg of cannabis seized in Marib

MARIB, March 17 (YPA) – The security of Majzar District in Marib province on Thursday seized 186 kilograms of hashish in two separate operations.

A security source in the province said that the first operation resulted in seizing a quantity of 71 kilograms that was hidden inside a gas cylinder on board a “Hilux” car, and arrested the five suspects in its possession.

The source indicated that 115 kilograms of narcotic hashish was seized in the second operation on board a SUV car, and three suspects in possession of it were arrested.

The suspects with the seized items were referred to the competent authorities, the source added.
