300 anti-vehicle mines of coalition’s remnants destroyed in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – The Executive Mine Action Center in Hodeida governorate destroyed, on Tuesday, 300 anti-vehicle mines, remnants of the coalition, as part of its ongoing efforts to clear the governorate of these dangerous remnants.

Colonel Yahya Sabr, Director of the Executive Mine Action Center in Hodeida, explained that the destruction operation is part of the center’s various activities, including surveying, clearing, and inspection, and is part of the ongoing campaign it is carrying out to remove the remnants of the aggression in a number of areas of the governorate, including Al-Hali district.

He pointed out that the remnants of the aggression still pose a great danger to the lives of citizens, as they have caused civilian casualties.

He also affirmed that the center’s teams continue to carry out their humanitarian and national duties despite the challenges, with the aim of reducing risks, protecting the lives of citizens, and securing residential and agricultural areas, which contributes to enhancing public safety.

Sabr called on citizens to cooperate with the center’s teams and report any remnants or suspicious objects, and not to approach them in order to preserve their safety.
