STC expands its offensive on coastal districts in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Dec. 28 (YPA) -The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) continues to escalate operations in eastern Yemen ahead of the expiration of a Saudi Arabia–set deadline for their withdrawal from the region, local media reported on Sunday.

The STC reportedly carried out attacks in three districts along the Hadramout coast, expanding its operations from Al-Hadram areas to Ghayl Bin Yamin, Al-Shihr, and “Ad Dis” eastern districts.

These areas have witnessed clashes between UAE-backed forces and tribal fighters supported by Saudi Arabia. The confrontations continue despite Saudi airstrikes targeting supply lines in Al-Shihr.
