Saudi warplanes carry out airstrikes on Saada, Taiz

PROVINCES, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Saudi air forces carried out a series of airstrikes on several Yemeni provinces in recent hours.

In Saada, Saudi warplanes launched three airstrikes on Sahar district.

In Taiz, Saudi warplanes struck Al-Shaheed School in Al-A’reen village, Al A‘rūk sub-district, Haifan district, in Taiz.

On Monday, Saudi warplanes targeted Al-Rawdh School in the Al-Rabi’i area of At-Ta’iziyah district for the third time, completely destroying the remaining structure.

A Saudi airstrike struck a residential home in the Al-Ma’afer district, killing three women and an elderly man, and injuring three others.

The strikes followed an attack less than 48 hours earlier on commercial shops in the central market of Taiz at the Mawiyah junction in At-Ta’iziyah district.

Preliminary figures indicate that the attack left seven citizens dead and 40 others injured, including five children.
