Hundreds protest outside White House against Netanyahu’s visit

WASHINGTON, July 09 (YPA) – Hundreds of activists demonstrated in front of the White House for two consecutive days, coinciding with meetings between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, rejecting the latter’s visit to Washington.

During the demonstration, the activists held up signs reading “Arrest Netanyahu” and denounced the war crimes committed by the occupation forces in Gaza.

Protesters chanted slogans demanding that Netanyahu be held accountable for the killing of thousands of Palestinian civilians, stressing that his visit to Washington is a provocation to the feelings of millions of people who stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The demonstrators stressed that international justice must not ignore the crimes committed by the occupation army under the orders of Netanyahu’s far-right government, and demanded an end to unconditional US support for “Israel.”
