Israeli occupation forces arrest over 30 Palestinians in West Bank

WEST BANK, July 09 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces carried out a large-scale arrest campaign across the occupied West Bank early Wednesday, detaining more than 30 Palestinians, including children, according to local sources and rights organizations.

In Nablus, Israeli occupation troops stormed multiple neighborhoods and arrested one young man. In Balata refugee camp, forces detained three more individuals, including two brothers and another resident.

In Bethlehem, at least seven people were arrested from the town of Husan, west of the city, after the occupation soldiers raided and searched their homes.

In Salfit, four were arrested in the town of Haris, including two 9-year-old children. Another young man was detained in the nearby town of Qarawat Bani Hassan.

In Jerusalem, Zionist forces raided the town of Al-Ram, arresting a man and his son. They also stormed the local Directorate of Education office, breaking down doors and seizing surveillance footage.

In Qalqilya, three Palestinians were arrested, while in Hebron, another young man was detained.

Additionally, the Israeli occupation forces also raided the city of Tulkarm, arresting Sheikh Kassab Zaqout from the eastern neighborhood.

Human rights organizations affirmed that these coordinated arrest campaigns are part of a broader policy of collective punishment, aimed at suffocating daily life for Palestinians amid the ongoing war on Gaza and the growing resistance in the West Bank.
