Five Palestinians killed, others injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 03 (YPA) – At least four Palestinian citizens were killed and others were injured in fresh Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Monday, while another one died of injuries sustained yesterday, Palestinian media outlet reported, citing sources.

Palestinian sources reported that a civilian was killed and several others were injured, some critically, in an Israeli strike that targeted a civilian vehicle near the al-Khour rotary in Gaza City’s Tel al-Hawa neighborhood.

In southern Gaza, an Israeli strike killed a civilian in the al-Yabani neighborhood of Khan Yunis. Another citizen was killed and a young girl was injured in an Israeli drone strike near the Bir 19 area of Khan Yunis.

In central Gaza, a citizen died of shrapnel wounds after an Israeli quadcopter dropped a bomb east of al-Masdar village.  Three other Gazans suffered injuries in separate Israeli attacks today.

Meanwhile, a citizen was pronounced dead after succumbing to injuries sustained in an Israeli strike on a police point in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis on Sunday.

Additionally, widespread military activity, including shooting incidents, artillery shelling, drone overflights, and demolitions, was reported in different areas of Gaza.
