Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi addresses sons of southern, eastern provinces, clarifies military scope

SANAA, Sept. 17 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Ansarallah movement, delivered a televised speech on Thursday addressing residents of Yemen’s southern and eastern provinces regarding recent regional developments.

During the address, al-Houthi stated that Sanaa forces do not intend to target the civilian population in southern or eastern areas. He clarified that military operations are focused exclusively on Saudi-backed military mobilizations inside the country.

“I emphasize to all residents of the southern and eastern provinces that we are not targeting them,” al-Houthi said. “Our objective has always been the military mobilizations brought by the Saudi-led coalition that target our people.”
