Sayyed al-Houthi describes Saudi allegations that Yemen targeted Macca as lie of era

SANAA, Sept. 17 (YPA) – Yemen’s Ansarullah movement leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi said on Thursday that false propaganda and blatant and heinous allegations by the Saudi regime against Yemen had been a key component of the Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people, aimed at tarnishing their image.

In a televised speech on the latest developments, he described Saudi allegations that Yemen targeted Macca as the lie of the era.

Sayyed Al-Houthi said one of the Saudi enemy’s most heinous and disgraceful lies was the allegation that the Yemeni people and their armed forces had targeted Macca.

He described also the allegation as a major, ugly and heinous lie and “exposed falsehood, saying the Saudi regime sought through such claims to incite others against Yemen and had employed its media and propaganda capabilities to justify its crimes against the Yemeni people.

The movement leader stressed that the Yemeni people were among the Muslim peoples most devoted to Islamic holy sites and most committed to protecting them, saying they were prepared to defend them with their lives whenever they faced danger.

He clarified the Saudi regime had demonstrated its baseness and degradation by using false allegations and blatant fabrications concerning the sanctity of Macca.

Sayyed al-Houthi He added that the Saudi regime was seeking to bring others into its crimes against Yemen by repeating the allegations in an attempt to gain traction among those who, he said, routinely accept Saudi claims and issue condemnations based on them.

He criticized condemnations issued without verification, saying that accepting the allegations amounted to sharing responsibility and moral bankruptcy, accusing some countries of claiming concern for Islamic holy sites while failing to defend them and the Muslim community.

Leader al-Houthi held countries and religious bodies that had repeated the allegations alongside Saudi Arabia fully responsible under religious and legal standards, as well as for their moral consequences, accusing them of accepting false claims and giving false testimony.

He added that the Saudi regime had previously circulated the same allegation but that it had gained no traction among reasonable people in the Muslim world. He said no Muslim who respected their Islamic identity could accept such allegations against a people whom the Prophet Muhammad had described as the people of faith.

Sayyed al-Houthi affirmed that the Saudi regime was using its great falsehood to compensate for its failures on the battlefield and for international positions that have their own calculations at this stage, including varying degrees of direct involvement.

“The Americans announced that they have a joint force of 200 military experts managing aggressive operations from Saudi Arabia against Yemen, while the Saudi regime fights us with American aircraft it has acquired and bombs it purchases from the United States,” he added.
