“Hadramout Tribal Confederacy” conducts first armed operation west of Mukalla

HADRAMOUT, Dec. 17 (YPA) – Militants of the “Hadramout Tribal Confederacy” removed on Tuesday one of the military points established by the authorities loyal to the Saudi-led coalition west of the city of Mukalla, the center of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

Informed sources reported that a number of “Noh” tribe militants removed the point established by the governor of Hadramout, Mabkhout bin Madhi, in the Al-Husayn area, west of Mukalla.

The sources confirmed that bin Madhi aims to provoke the tribal confederacy militants and bring them into confrontations with UAE-funded “Hadrami elite” factions west of Mukalla by creating this point.

The tribal confederacy had established armed points west of Mukalla to limit oil plundering and taking it out of Hadramout, causing a stifling crisis in Marib and a number of provinces under the control of the coalition.

This comes in light of the failure of the “Presidential Leadership Council” and the coalition-affiliated government to respond to the demands of the people of Hadramout, except for procrastination and false promises.
