OCCUPIED QUDS, July 05 (YPA) – Nahum Barnea, a political analyst for the Hebrew newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth,” admitted that the Gideon military vehicle operation ended in a clear failure.
Barnea noted that the motivation for this operation’s implementation was primarily political and that the decision was made by a single party.
He explained that the Israeli occupation army does not officially acknowledge this failure, but the frustration within its ranks is enormous, emphasizing that the price paid for this operation was heavy.
Barnea’s statements reflect growing criticism within Israeli political and military circles regarding the management of operations in the Gaza Strip, especially in light of mounting losses and the failure to achieve clear objectives.
