ADEN, July 05 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based government has broken its silence on the catastrophic economic and service conditions targeting the coalition-backed Bin Braik government’s areas.
In a special meeting on Saturday, the head of Sanaa government, Ahmed al-Rahwi, discussed with the Sanaa- affiliated governors of Hadramout, Luqman Baras, Lahj, Ahmed Jarib, and Socotra, Hashim Al-Soqtri, the catastrophic living conditions and the deterioration of public services targeting citizens in in the southern and eastern provinces of Yemen.
In the meeting, Al-Rahwi discussed also the direct and indirect consequences of the unprecedented and catastrophic rise in the collapse of the local currency, as well as its impact on the worsening living conditions, especially in light of the widespread hunger among the population.
Mr. Al-Rahwi listened to a brief explanation from the governors about the latest developments in the three provinces and the growing popular anger over the practices of the Saudi-Emirati coalition.

In turn, the governors of the provinces pointed to the unprecedented state of turmoil among the people, who are fed up with the policy of impoverishment, tampering with the currency, and the repressive practices that target every free and honorable voice in those provinces.
