Armed attack targets STC military patrol in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 08 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen attacked on Wednesday a military patrol of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions by the UAE in the center of Aden, south of Yemen.
Eyewitnesses said that two gunmen on a motorbike attacked the patrol in the middle of Mualla area and fled to an unknown destination.

Sources famailier with the matter suggested that the attack was a response to the STC’s factions firing on demonstrators during the million-man demonstration that demanded the disclosure of the kidnapped commander Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani.
