IRGC reveals results of investigations for Haniyeh’s assassination

TEHRAN, Aug. 01 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) revealed on Saturday new details about the Zionist occupation’s assassination of the head of Hamas’ political bureau Ismail Haniyeh in the capital Tehran.

“This operation was carried out by “launching a short-range projectile, with a 7-kilogram warhead, from outside the perimeter of the guests’ residence,” the IRGC said in its third statement.

The statement held the criminal American government-backed Israeli occupation entity the responsibility for planning and carrying out the operation.

Last Wednesday, the IRGC announced the news of Haniyeh’s martyrdom, in an Israeli assassination that targeted the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The assassination came during a visit by Haniyeh to Tehran to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian.
