BEIRUT, July 05 (YPA) – Israeli drones continued their strikes against southern Lebanon on Saturday, targeting border towns.
The strikes were continued violation of the ceasefire agreement, which the Lebanese resistance and the occupation have reached since last November.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced in a statement that one person was killed and another injured in an Israeli drone strike on the border town of Shebaa, south Lebanon.
For its part, the National News Agency reported that a drone targeted a house in the town, resulting in casualties, while occupation aircraft launched another raid in the Bint Jbeil district, wounding two people.
These strikes also came amid escalating tensions on the ground in southern Lebanon, where Israeli occupation forces have remain stationed at five points inside Lebanese territory, in a continued violation of Lebanese sovereignty despite a fragile ceasefire agreement.
