Gaza: Palestinian Resistance factions shoot down Zionist drone, destroy several militray vehicles, during confrontions
GAZA, Nov. 16 (YPA) – The Palestinian resistance managed to destroy several tanks of the Zionist occupation forces, shoot down and control a drone, and continued to clashes with the Zionist forces in several areas in the Gaza Strip, as well as firing rocket barrages towards the occupation settlements and military build-ups.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, Al-Qassam Brigades targeted a Zionist tank in the northwest of Gaza City with a “Al-Yassin 105″ shell, and renewed the shelling of “Sderot” with rocket barrages.
Moreover, Al-Qassam Brigades announced that their fighters bombed the settlement of “Sderot” with a rocket barrage, and shelled a gathering of Zionist vehicles penetrating east of the city of Deir al-Balah with mortar shells, as well as targeting a Zionist tank and bulldozer northwest of Gaza City with two “Tandom” shells.
They also targeted a gathering of enemy forces in the axis south of Gaza City with the 114mm short-range “Rajum” rocket system, and bombed “Ashkelon” with rocket barrages.
According to the center, sirens were sounded in Ashkelon and its suburbs before a rocket fell in the occupied city following the rocket barrages.
The center affirmed that the Qassam Brigades targeted a Zionist troop carrier northwest of Gaza City with a “Al-Yassin 105” shell, and targeted a Zionist bulldozer east of the city of Deir Al-Balah with a “Al-Yassin 105″ shell.
For their part, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, said in a military statement that their fighters shot down a Zionist Skylark drone and took control of it.”
The group did not give further details.
Al-Quds Brigades also announced that they had fired mortar shells at crowds and enemy soldiers in the artillery hill in the northern Gaza Strip, confirming that they had been hit directly.
According to local sources, the resistance valiantly confronted a Zionist force that penetrated into the eastern outskirts of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, under the cover of heavy artillery shelling.
