Islamic Resistance in Iraq claims responsibility for targeting US forces in Ain al-Assad base

WORLD, Nov. 16 (YPA)- The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed on Wednesday the responsibility for the attack on the American Ain al-Assad base with rocket barrages.

“In response to the crimes committed by the enemy against our people in Gaza, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base, Ain al-Assad, in western Iraq, with a missile salvo, directly hitting its targets,” The Iraqi resistance said in a statement.

Since Wednesday, October 18, the Iraqi Islamic Resistance has been targeting US bases in Ain al-Assad and Harir in Iraqi Kurdistan and al-Tanf and al-Malikiyah bases in Syria, while US forces have vowed more operations.

The resistance affirmed that that its fighters  will not stand idly by in the face of the ongoing genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza.
