Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 61,827

GAZA, Aug. 15 (YPA) – The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza announced on Friday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression has risen to 61,827 killed and 155,275 injured since October 7, 2023.

In its daily report, the ministry confirmed that 51 martyrs (including 2 recovered bodies) and 369 injuries arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours due to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.”

It added, ” During the past 24 hours, 17 more martyrs and 225 injuries were recorded from aid seekers, bringing the total number of martyrs who have arrived at hospitals to 1,898, with over 13,863 injuries.”

Additionally, the ministry reported four deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, raising the number of fatalities to 240, including 107 children.

Since March 18, 2025, the total death toll has reached 10,300 martyrs, with 43,234 injuries reported.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip.
