Borrell warns of Zionist intention to evacuate 1 million civilians from northern Gaza Strip

WORLD, Oct. 14 (YPA) – Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, warned of Zionist intention to evacuate one million Palestinians from the northern Gaza Strip in light of the ongoing fighting.

“I fully endorse Antonio Guterres warning that Israel’s request that 1 million civilians evacuate from the North of Gaza across a densely populated warzone to a place with no food, water, or shelter into a territory under siege is extremely dangerous and virtually impossible,” Josep Borrell said in a post on his X account.

The Israeli occupation army asked the residents of the Gaza Strip to evacuate their homes and leave towards the south of the Strip, where the area to be evacuated is about half the area of the Strip.

Guterres has previously warned of a humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip against the backdrop of such displacement.
