Military vehicle destroyed in Marib explosive device blast

MARIB, Sept. 27 (YPA) – A military vehicle belonging to the coalition-backed armed factions was exploded on Wednesday in the center of the city of Marib, eastern Yemen.

Sources familiar with the matter reported that an explosive device was planted in one of the vehicles, which was parked on Al-Mawsah Street in the center of the Islah Party-held city.

The sources explained that the explosive device damaged the military vehicle without recording any human or material losses, amid accusations that the UAE-backed commander Saghir Bin Aziz’s cells were behind the explosion.

Explosive devices’ explosions have been escalated in the areas that Islah militias control in the city and Al-Wadi District of Marib since the coalition appointed Bin Aziz as Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Defense in the coalition-funded government.
