Reports: Hisham Sharaf leaves Aden airport on private jet

ADEN, July 23 (YPA) -Media sources reported today that Hisham Sharaf, the former Foreign Minister in the Sanaa government, has left Aden International Airport aboard a private aircraft under unclear circumstances.

According to reports, local authorities loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Aden released Sharaf and transferred him via an unidentified military aircraft.

The exact destination of the flight remains unknown, though sources suggest he may have been flown either to Djibouti or the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, accompanied by several pro-coalition officials.

No official statement has been issued by the pro-coalition government regarding his release

Sharaf was arrested by the pro-ciliation government at Aden International Airport on July 9 after arriving from Sanaa.

He had reportedly been en route to Djibouti in transit, with plans to continue to Amman, Jordan, for medical treatment following the continued closure of Sanaa International Airport.
