STC carries out military action against Islah factions in Seiyun

HADRMOUT, Sept. 27 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias carried out on Wednesday the first military action against the military parade of Islah Party-run First Military Zone forces in Hadramout province.

Local sources confirmed that the STC leaders demanded launching military operations to control the Al-Wadi and Desert districts, and prosecuting the perpetrators of assassinations in the province.

This comes after the “First Region Forces” organized a military parade on Tuesday on the 61st anniversary of the September 26 Revolution. Observers considered it a threatening message to the STC factions that seek to control the districts of Wadi Hadramout.

During the past months, Saudi Arabia has deployed factions of Dera al-Watan forces along the road linking Hadramout to Al-Wadiah border crossing, amid efforts to integrate the forces of the First Military District into the Dera al-Watan” factions during the coming months.
