More than 600 Ukrainian soldiers killed, Russian Defense Ministry says

WORLD, July 10 (YPA) – The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday that an offensive by Kiev troops had been thwarted, more than 600 soldiers had been eliminated and Western weapons depots destroyed.

In its daily statement, the ministry noted that Ukrainian forces tried to launch attacks on the Donetsk, South Donetsk and Krasny-Lyman axes, but the Russian forces were able to repel and thwart all the attacks.

The ministry added that the Ukrainian forces suffered significant losses on these axes. 200 foreign soldiers and mercenaries were killed, four tanks and a number of Western-made military vehicles and equipment were destroyed.

Russian forces also thwarted attempts by Ukrainian forces to carry out reconnaissance and sabotage operations and managed to eliminate 80 soldiers, destroying a number of military vehicles and self-propelled artillery.
