18 al-Qaeda suspects are on trial in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Feb. 27 (YPA) – The Specialized Criminal Court in Hodeida Province held a trial session on Monday for 18 members of the so-called “Al-Qaeda organization” in Case No. 75 of the year 1444 AH.

In the session chaired by Judge Amin Ali Zabara and in the presence of the Specialized Criminal Prosecutor, Judge Muhammad Mohsen Al-Mahbashi, the court confronted the defendants with a list of evidence of the incidents of killing, looting, monitoring, and attempting to storm the former branch of the Political Security Agency in Hodeida province.

The court decided to postpone the hearing to complete the pleadings in the case.
