SANAA, Aug. 04 (YPA) – Yemeni armed forces in Sanaa announced on Tuesday that they launched an airstrike targeting a “sensitive site” at Saudi Arabia’s Najran Regional Airport using an uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV), asserting that the strike hit its target with precision.
In a military statement, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, spokesperson for the Sanaa-based armed forces, stated that the operation came in response to what he described as violations of Yemeni airspace over Saada and Hajjah governorates by Saudi reconnaissance drones.
The statement emphasized that the armed forces would not allow any breach of Yemeni airspace to pass without a response.
