HADRAMOUT, Dec. 17 (YPA) – UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias pushed on Saturday large crowds to the Hadramout oil plateau, in preparation for the final decision.
Southern media outlets reported the arrival of hundreds of supporters of the STC, during which the head of STC’s branch in Shabwa appeared with the crowds in Al-Rudoud Camp, which the STC used as an arena to mobilize its supporters.
The mobilizations came under the calls made by the most prominent arms of the STC in Hadramout, Hassan al-Jabri, head of the so-called second Hadrami Uprising, for a broad meeting to resolve the future of the oil plateau in light of the recent escalation with the forces of the Islah-run First Military Region.
