FM praises EU position rejecting military action in Yemen

SANAA, May 9 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Friday sent a congratulatory cable to the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union Josep Borrell on the occasion of Europe Day.

In the cable, Sharaf praised the principled position of the European Union rejecting military action and the all-out blockade imposed on the Republic of Yemen, and its constant calls for a peaceful political solution.
