Gaza’s Health Ministry: 40 killed, 73 injured due to Israeli occupation’s aggression within 24 hours

GAZA, April 17 (YPA) -The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Thursday that 40 martyrs and 73 wounded had arrived at hospitals in the Strip during the past 24 hours.

In a statement, the ministry confirmed that the death toll since March 18 has risen to 1,691, with 4,464 wounded.

The death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 51,065, with 116,505 wounded since October 7, 2023, according to the statements.

The ministry stated that “several victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and civil defense crews.”
