GAZA, Oct. 22 (YPA) – Two Palestinians, including a child who was in critical condition, were martyred and others were wounded on Wednesday following Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources reported that child Abdul Rahman Khalil Awad succumbed to injuries sustained in shelling north of Gaza City.

Ramadan Mohammed Diab Abu Shahada was killed and another Palestinian wounded in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Mawasi, in Al-Qarara north of Khan Younis. Another Palestinian was wounded by Israeli gunfire in Bureij refugee camp.

The attacks coincided with artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli military vehicles in several areas in the northern Gaza Strip, east of Gaza City and south of Khan Younis.

The attacks came amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, which took effect on October 10, 2025. Since then, more than 1,800 Palestinians have been killed and hundreds of others wounded.
