SANAA, Oct. 22 (YPA) – Remarks by Saudi Ambassador Mohammed Al Jaber about Yemen’s future have sparked sharp reactions from Sanaa-based Yemeni political figures, who accused him of violating diplomatic norms and interfering in Yemen’s internal affairs.
They rejected what they described as an attempt to place Yemen’s future under Saudi control, insisting that the country’s political decisions are a sovereign matter and cannot be dictated by Saudi Arabia or its representatives.
Al-Farah: Saudi Ambassador Is a Diplomat, Not a Ruler; Response Will Come in Ballistic Missile Strikes
Mohammed Al-Farah, a member of the Ansarullah Political Bureau, criticized Al Jaber’s remarks, saying an ambassador’s role is to represent his country and manage diplomatic relations, not act as a ruler over the host country or claim authority over its institutions and decision-making bodies.

Al-Farah stressed that an ambassador’s role is to manage relations between two sovereign states, not issue directives, interfere in internal affairs, or impose foreign guardianship on the host country.
In a post on X, Al-Farah wrote: “The best response to the Saudi ambassador’s insolence and contempt for the Yemeni people is a barrage of missiles that sends smoke rising from Saudi facilities.”

He added that the response should include “killing their officers and soldiers among their mobilized forces,” so they would understand that Yemen is an independent country and that “the era of guardianship, arrogance, and colonialism is over for good.”
Hazam al-Asad to Al Jaber : Who Gave You the Right to Decide Yemen’s Fate?
Hezam al-Asad, a member of the Yemeni Shura Council and the Ansarullah Political Bureau, issued a sharp rebuke to the Saudi ambassador, rejecting what he described as an attempt to portray Yemen’s future as being subject to Saudi decisions.

“Yemen is greater than you and your Salman. You are not the one who decides Yemen’s fate or decides what we are allowed or not allowed to do. Who are you? Who is your father?” he wrote.
Al-Asad also rejected comparisons between Yemenis and the forces brought in by Riyadh, saying: “Do not compare Yemen and its men to the herd you brought to your hotels!”
He concluded with a warning: “Tomorrow, you will know your place, and you will regret it!”
Saleem al-Mughallis: Yemen and Taiz Are Not the Property of Al Saud
Meanwhile, Saleem al-Mughallis, a member of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau, sharply criticized the Saudi ambassador, questioning his authority and whether his statements disregarded the role of Yemeni figures aligned with Riyadh.
“The Saudi ambassador’s insolence is unbelievable! What have you left for Rashad al-Alimi and the rest of your mercenaries? Do Yemen and Taiz belong to your father or your masters for you to decide their fate and speak to our people in such an arrogant manner?” al-Mughallis said.

Al-Mughallis reaffirmed his rejection of Saudi domination over Yemen, saying: “By God, Yemen will never belong to the House of Saud, and neither Yemen nor Taiz will be held hostage to Saudi influence and its project as long as there is a single free person left in this country.”
