80 thousand people perform prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, March 04 (YPA) – 80 thousand worshipers, on Tuesday evening, performed the Isha and Tarawih prayers on the fourth day of the holy month of Ramadan, in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to estimates by the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem , more than 80,000 worshipers performed the Isha and Tarawih prayers in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, most of them from the people of the Holy City and from the territories of 1948 AD.

All this comes in light of the strict military measures imposed by the occupation authorities on access to Al-Aqsa Mosque, as they prevent thousands of citizens from the West Bank governorates from reaching Jerusalem to perform praying in it.
