Senior Israeli official on child molestation charges arrested in Las Vegas

WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 (YPA) – US police arrested on Saturday a senior Israeli official on child molestation charges in Las Vegas city.

Las Vegas police accused Tom Alexandrovich, head of a division at Israel’s National Cyber Security Directorate, was held after a large-scale raid targeting individuals suspected of involvement in online child exploitation crimes, according to the Hebrew newspaper Calcalist.

He was arrested this week while attending a professional conference in his official capacity as a representative of the Israeli government.

The police added that Alexandrovich was among eight people arrested during the raid, which was led by joint units including the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force.
