HTS elements assault family of former official in Damascus

SANAA, Jan. 01 (YPA) – Armed elements affiliated with the “Hayat Tahrir al-Sham” (HTS) organization attacked, on Wednesday, the family of Hassan Musa al-Ibrahim, a former official in the former Syrian regime, before kidnapping him from his home in the countryside of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that two vehicles belonging to Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham entered the home of the former official in the town of Adra in the Damascus countryside, and the elements assaulted his family members, including women, despite the guarantees of safety provided by the organization.

The Observatory explained that members of “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” also assaulted the official and his son in front of their house, under the pretext of acting as a thug for the former regime, and the official was taken to an unknown location without knowing his fate.
