GAZA, Aug. 05 (YPA) – Palestine’s resistance factions attacked on Tuesday Israeli occupation’s military sites and gatherings in various areas in the Gaza Strip.
Qassam Brigades, the Hamas military wing, declared it had directly bombed an Israeli army command and control site near Dar al-Arqam School in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, using several mortar shells.
In the same context, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles east of the al-Qarara area, northeast of Khan Yunis, was targeted with several mortar shells, noting that the attack accurately hit its goals.
These operations came hours after a joint announcement by the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades and Al-Quds Brigades that they had destroyed an Israeli vehicle using an anti-tank explosive device east of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza, resulting in deaths and injuries among the vehicle’s crew.
These attacks indicated an intense escalation in the field clashes between the resistance factions and the occupation forces, particularly with the ongoing ground incursions into the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip and the occupation’s attempts to establish military positions within residential quarters.
