Al-Houthi clarifies Sanaa’s position towards Turkey, its ships
SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, said on Thursday that “Turkey is not targeted by Sanaa’s naval military operations, as are the rest of the countries of the world that have not declared their aggression against Yemen.”
Al-Houthi indicated in his account on the “X” that the Yemeni armed forces announced the targeting of ships that supply the Israeli entity with its imports through the ports of occupied Palestine.
He added that for any ship that is targeted, the reason is announced in a statement by the armed forces, renewing the call for ships to stay away from the occupier.
Al-Houthi explained that the Turkish state, like the rest of the Arab and Islamic countries, “we share with it the priority of support for Palestine and Lebanon against one enemy by standing firmly in the face of genocide, terrorism, and the ongoing siege committed by the interim entity (Israeli entity) with actual American and British participation.”
Al-Houthi’s statements come after many media outlets reported that a Turkish commercial ship was targeted in the Red Sea.
