Massive fire engulfs “Shamlan Hyper” shopping center in northwest Sanaa

SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – Activists shared on social media platforms on Thursday evening showing a massive fire that broke out at the ” Shamlan Hyper” shopping center in the Shamlan area, northwest of Sanaa.

According to reports, the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit, prompting civil defense teams to quickly respond and put out the flames.

The shared footage showed that the fire had engulfed the entire center.

So far, the Civil Defense in Sanaa has not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
