Former US officials accuse Biden administration of undeniable complicity in killing Palestinians in Gaza

WORLD, July 03 (YPA) -Former American officials who resigned due to US support for the Israeli aggression on Gaza accused the Biden administration on Tuesday of “undeniable complicity” in the killing of Palestinians in the territory.

In a joint statement, the 12 former officials said the US administration was violating laws through its support for Israel and finding loopholes to continue shipping weapons to its ally.

Meanwhile, a new employee at the US Department of the Interior announced her resignation on Tuesday in protest of US policy towards the Gaza conflict.

The resigning employee stated that President Joe Biden continued to fund this violence instead of using American influence to stop the killing in Gaza.

There is increasing international condemnation of Israel’s operations in Gaza, and heightened scrutiny of the US military and diplomatic support provided to its ally in the conflict, which has resulted in nearly 38,000 fatalities and a humanitarian catastrophe.

The resignations of American officials highlight internal government dissent regarding its support for Israel.
