Protests rally organized in Switzerland in solidarity with Palestinian case

SANAA, May 05 (YPA) – Hundreds of people participated in a pro-Palestinian demonstration at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.

Swiss News Agency (Keystone SDA) reported that the demonstrators were supporting a group of students who had been occupying the entrance to the university building since Thursday.

The students called for an academic boycott of the Zionist entity and an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The university administration has so far focused on dialogue with the occupying students, and a new meeting is scheduled to be held between the demonstrators and the university administration tomorrow.
