Hamas delegation leaves Cairo without final agreement

CAIRO, May 05 (YPA) – Hamas Movement declared on Sunday that the current round of negotiations in the Egyptian capital, Cairo had ended without reaching agreement.

Hamas indicating in a statement that its delegation will leave tonight to consult with the movement’s leadership.

The statement said that the delegation had delivered the movement’s response to the Egyptian and Qatari mediators, noting that it had held in-depth and serious discussions with them.

“The movement is dealing positively and responsibly with the proposal, it said, stressing its keenness and determination to reach an agreement that meets the Palestinians’ national demands, ends the aggression completely, achieves withdrawal from the entire Gaza Strip, in addition, coming back the displaced, beginning reconstruction, and completing the prisoner exchange deal.”
