Yemeni religious scholars praises military escalation to support Gaza

SANAA, May 06 (YPA) – Yemen’s religious scholars praised on Sunday the fourth stage of escalation declared by the Yemeni armed forces against the American-British Zionist enemy.

In a statement, the Association of Scholars affirmed that the announcement is a legal duty and a faith and religious responsibility that must be undertaken by the people of the nation, especially the Arab regimes and their armies.

The statement called on all scholars of the Islamic world to move to support the Palestine people in Gaza, as well as all military operations that the Axis of Resistance carried out in all fronts.

It pointed out that steadfastness and continuity in the rallies and activities in support of Gaza is a religious duty.

The statement also called on the Palestinian people and the leaders of the jihad and resistance factions to have more patience and steadfastness in facing the enemy.

It asserted that the Association of Yemeni Scholars will follow up developments in the issues and concerns of the Islamic nation, foremost among which are events in Gaza and Palestine.
