Massive popular rallies held across Yemen in support of Palestinian people
SANAA, Aug. 15 (YPA) – A million-strong demonstration was staged on Friday in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sanaa, and in other squares in various provinces.
In protest rallies, participants affirmed the continued Yemeni position in support of the Palestinian people and its resistance, under the slogan “with Gaza, jihad and steadfastness to confront the most heinous genocide and the most malicious conspiracies”.
The demonstrators raised Yemeni and Palestinian flags, chanting slogans affirming Yemenis’ commitment to the Palestinian cause and their rejection of all forms of aggression and normalization.
They also emphasized their full readiness to confront challenges and conspiracies, expressing their great indignation towards those who seek to disarm the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, as well as the Arab collusion that encouraged the Israeli and American enemies to persist in committing brutal crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
The crowds firmly rejected the criminal Netanyahu’s plan, which he openly declared regarding the ambitions of the global Zionist system to implement its “Greater Israel” project.
They affirmed that the Yemeni people would strongly stand against the malicious Zionist project, given the grave danger it poses to Yemen, the nation, and its holy sites.
Protesters called on the people of the nation to confront the Zionist project that the enemy constantly working to implement.
The rallies condemned the continued support and services provided by some regimes to the criminal enemy, including the dispatch of ships laden with goods and weapons.
