Tariq Saleh redeploys his forces near Bab al-Mandab

TAIZ, Sept. 13 (YPA) – Tariq Saleh’s militia on Tuesday took control of positions overlooking Bab al-Mandab strait, in a move that threatens to erupt an armed confrontation with the tribes of al-Sabiha.

Identical sources said that dozens of military vehicles carrying militated loyal to Tariq’s forces repositioned themselves in the southwestern coastal areas surrounding the strategic gate (Bab al-Mandab), defying the al-Sabaiha tribes, who had previously issued fire warnings to him that drove him out of the area.

The sources pointed out that this bold step may ignite the flames of armed conflict between the two parties, especially with the al-Sabiha tribes as they categorically reject the presence of any military presence of Tariq Saleh in their areas near  Bab al-Mandab.
