Floods sweep away IDP camps in southern Taiz countryside

TAIZ, Sept. 13 (YPA) – Torrential rains caused severe damage in camps for the internally displaced people (IDP) in Al-Ma’afer district in the southern countryside of Taiz.

According to local sources, “the rains and strong winds led to the damage of a number of tents and the destruction of food and shelter materials .

The sources called on the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition and humanitarian organizations to quickly intervene in providing assistance to alleviate their suffering and repair the damaged camps.
