Sanaa condemns France’s continued confrontation with national will of people of Niger

SANAA, Sept. 03 (YPA) – The head of Sanaa delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, condemned France’s continued confrontation with the national liberation will of the Niger people.

“France must realize that it is a colonial power whose time is over after decades of plundering the wealth of Niger and other African countries,” he said in a post on his X account on Saturday.

Niger’s top court approved the immediate expulsion of France’s ambassador, revoking his diplomatic immunity, according to a request addressed to the court’s president.

Thousands of angry demonstrators gathered outside the French military base in the Nigerian capital Niamey, demanding the immediate departure of all French troops from their country.
