Sanaa announces state of emergency to face danger of heavy rains, floods

SANAA, Aug. 07 (YPA) – The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation in Sanaa, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, on Monday directed the Joint Emergency Committee to increase readiness to deal with the damage caused by rain floods.

This was revealed at a meeting today attended by the Chairman of the Civil Defense Authority, Major General Ibrahim Al-Moayyed, and members of the Joint Emergency Committee from the relevant authorities and organizations to prepare and raise readiness to face the damage caused by torrents, as well as to implement the response and interventions.
