Civil disobedience in Mocha denounces UAE violations against citizens

TAIZ, May 24 (YPA) – Dozens of shops in the coastal city of Mocha, west of Taiz province, carried out on Wednesday civil disobedience in protest against the violations of military leaders loyal to UAE-backed Tariq Afash towards citizens in the city.

This came one day after the closure of Al-Rasini restaurant by the armed groups affiliated with the UAE.

A leader of the so-called “Guards of the Republic” militia, Abu Malik, arrested the owner of “Al-Rasini” restaurant after he demanded the militias’ leader to pay the amount of 12 million riyals as debts to the restaurant.
