Al-Houthi threatens coalition with humiliating defeat

SANAA, March 26 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed al-Houthi, said that the continuation of the war on Yemen would lead to defeat the Saudi-led coalition states greatly and to become an ignominious defeat for all the peoples of the world.

This came during a speech he delivered to the major marches that took place in the capital Sanaa and the free province to mark the eighth anniversary of the National Steadfastness Day.
Al-Houthi affirmed the readiness of the Yemeni people to take any option determined by the leader of the revolution.

“We want a real peace, not a media peace, and we did not set impossible conditions or conditions that contradict international law,” stressed he, noting that “America is leading this war on Yemen, so sending a peace envoy is just to cover up its criminality.”

He added, “the Yemeni state, with to its various institutions got become consolidated after they wanted it to collapse despite cutting salaries, transferring the central bank, and stealing revenues.”

Al-Houthi stressed that the Yemeni people stand united together to enhance the level of social solidarity and embrace its poor and needy, and solving many cases of revenge.

He considered that the United Nations legitimized the blockade, stopped salaries and aid, and stood in the face of Yemeni people.
